Welcome to the Merrimack County Sheriff's Office
The Sheriff's Office is home to 63 full and part-time employees covering a wide range of responsibilities, from Prisoner Transport Civil, Court Security, Investigations and Emergency Communications. On a normal day Sheriff's Office Deputies will transport inmates to or from the Merrimack County House of Corrections to either one of the many courts within the County or to also a number of locations for either medical treatment or other appointments. Deputies are also out in the County serving civil paperwork, arrest warrants or assisting any number of the local city and towns Police departments. Civilian employees of the Sheriff's office assist residents and visitors on a daily basis with paperwork service or one of the approximately 120 daily calls for service that come into our Emergency Telecommunications center.
The Merrimack County Sheriff's Office has two locations in which to better serve the residents of Merrimack County. Our main office is located in Boscawen at 333 Daniel Webster Hwy across from the Merrimack County Jail. We also have an office at the Merrimack County Superior Court House (lower level) at 163 North Main St in Concord.
